    eagle-full=curly maple
    [acryl-curly ]

    PRICE$225.00

V40 x h30 cm (v16"xh12")This is a one of the rare examples of the use of curly maple veneer as the canvas upon which an artist works. Here Darrell Amos has created a stunning portrait of a complete eagle, done in the style that Darrell owes to his Haida origins. The head and beak are somewhat oversized proportionately, but indicating the almost overwhelming power of this bird powerful in legend and in daily life. There is the full body flowing from the head and the separate tail feathers complete the picture. The curly maple is an intriguing background, enriching the already striking image. It is strong and flexible, and is already thoroughly dried, but it will be interesting to for the buyer to decide on the ideal way of presenting the eagle to make is available for all to see.
