    CIRCLE EAGLE
    [acrylic/acid]

    PRICE$150.00

Haida artist, Darrel Amos, has taken a very imaginative approach to portraying an eagle-- he has encompassed it within a large circle. The heavy, crested head and dominant hooked bill with a bright red eye and long horizontal tongue nearly fill the top half of the circle and reach to the far edges at the right and left sides. Then below, the body is represented by a white broad band circle, containing a smaller red one. The tail emerges from the body circle and swirls out and downwards, suggesting the clawed feet in the same strokes. This is a large, dramatic, innovative piece, acrylic on strong artist paper, acid-free. Size: V 71 x h 56 cm (v28" x h 22")
