    Blue Beaver- Eric Parnell, an artist of the Haida Nation of Haida Gwaii, of the northern coast of British Columbia. Beaver is known to the Haida nation as the carpenter of the animal world. It is an industrious, determined, character – always busy, always building, surviving throughout the seasons. In Haida legend it is Beaver who is responsible for returning the salmon to the people – salmon which the Trickster Raven had stolen. Eric Parnell has created a powerful, forceful image of this treasured animal, made even more dramatic by Eric’s use blue colour, with decisive highlights in black. This is #27 of a limited edition of 75 prints, signed and numbered by the Eric Parnell, copyright, published in 2013. Printed on 100lb acid free smooth paper.
