    moose
    [original]

    PRICE$67.00

Siobhan Joseph is a young Squamish Nation woman, who is steadily building her reputation as creator of paintings that she describes as a reflection of both “traditional” styles of the Indigenous peoples of the Northwest coast of British Columbia and more “realistic” portrayals of animals in particular. This is as limited edition print of a moose, # 12 out of 15 copies. The lines are delicate, sweeping, and at the same time they clearly convey the bulk and power of a moose – anyone who has been close to these enormous, hulking, yet oddly graceful animals will see how well Siobhan has portrayed the mix of feelings and impressions they make. The print is on high quality paper, brilliantly printed, with the blacks and reds leaping out at the viewer. V 11” x H 17” 32grams
