    Thunderbird princess w salmon
    [acrylic/acid]

    PRICE$60.00

v 36 x h 28 cm This is a multi-faceted image of a Thunderbird, itself blending into a Princess, who in turn has a salmon "embedded" in her chest. Human-like images are rarely seen, because they are more often "abstracted" as symbols of creatures representing human. Here we clearly see the delicate, attractive princess, "guarded" by the Thunderbird above and herself cherishing the salmon, so vital to existence. This is a superb example of the power of the simple lines and striking colours of the work of Ron Solanas.
