    eagle -horizontal flight
    [yellow cedar]

    PRICE$80.00

v14xh21x1.5 thk This is a simple statement by Edwin Wadhams of an eagle in flight. Edwin uses yellow cedar, but as do the other carvers, he stains the piece with brown shoe polish and then buffs it to achieve the rich glow that emanates from it. This is a sturdy piece, showing the powerful downward sweep of the wings, and the determined, hooked beak of the eagle. There are traditional motifs of incised “crescent” shapes, with angular cuts within them – placed in the body, wings, and tail.
