    Blue Heron Sunset
    [limited edit]

    PRICE$83.00

This image of a great blue heron is another one of the colourful, dynamic works of Patrick Hunter, a young Ojibway painter from Red Lake, Ontario. Patrick’s style is open and flowing, he loves to balance the literal representation of a woodland creature (or a human one) with a spiritual presence, a feeling he has for what he is creating for the viewer. Patrick’s identifies himself as a neo-Woodland painter drawing inspiration from Norval Morrisseau and Daphne Odjig. Patrick Hunter also combines his formal training in graphic design with his sense of the traditional, completely informal traditions of his culture. He is a very entrepreneurial man, an “emerging” artist, who works in many formats, from acrylic paintings to highly decorative garments. He is an artist to watch! V 18” x H 12”, image slightly smaller. Limited Edition, 28 of 100. 64 grams.
